Using an e-file bit rather than a manual tool, can save you hand strain and less pressure, especially on stubborn cuticles.

This bit makes cuticle work so much easier. I use this with clients that have particularly stubborn cuticles, this if doing with a pusher , would need pressure to lift .... which I just don't like doing ... and now I don't need to apply unnecessary pressure
