Ideal for beginners, this bit's smaller tapered shape ensures you can achieve the perfect angle with ease where sometimes the Original KB Erin bit may have been too big to get in to smaller areas of certain nail shapes/sizes.
Suitable to use on those clients with tougher, built up cuticle. Small bitten nails will also be suitable due to is smaller shape, making it easy to navigate clearly around the nail plate.

The KB Tapered Erin bit is used for removing the cuticle from the nail plate and pushing back at the same time.
How long does this bit last?
This depends on how often this is used and varies between techs. The best way to know if you need to replace your E-file bit is, If the bit is taking you longer to achieve the results you were getting at the beginning, you need to replace.
How do I clean my E-file bit?
It is recommended that you firstly clean your e-file bits in warm soapy water and use a hard bristle brush to scrub them. Then you can place them in your chosen solution, we recommend barbicide. Always used for the recommended time stated by the manufacturer. We strongly do not recommend you leave your tools in solutions like this as it can cause rusting/pitting of the tools.

If i was to suggest a cuticle prep bit for anyone to start off with it would be the tapered Erin. I use a small in size and a medium grit. Its totally levelled up my cuticle prep and as a result retention has massively improved.
