We understand that accidents can happen during everyday salon use which is why we offer an Accidental Damage Replacement Policy for eligible manual tools.

- Curved Cuticle Scissors
- Straight Cuticle Scissors
- Mini Pushie
- Double Ended Cuticle Tool
- Loopy
- Etch and Dot
- Precision Perfector
- Push and Prep
- Form Tailoring Scissors
Accidental Damage Cover
Customers may claim a replacement for accidental damage occurring during normal professional use, subject to the following conditions:
- A maximum of 2 replacement claims per customer, per eligible tool, within any rolling 12 month period.
- 1 year does not restart when a replacement is sent.
- Proof of purchase must be provided.
- Clear photographs of the damaged tool must be provided before a replacement is approved.
- Katie Barnes Tool Range reserves the right to refuse claims where damage appears to be intentional, excessive, abusive or outside normal professional use.
- Customer is responsible for the expense of return shipping of the damaged tool to Katie Barnes Tool Range.
- Katie Barnes Tool Range will cover the cost of shipping the replacement tool.
- Replacement will not be issued until the damaged tool has been returned.
- If the tool is out of stock, a like for like replacement will be sent with your approval. Alternatively, store credit to the value of the tool will be offered. A refund will not be given.
How to claimTo claim free replacement you must email info@katiebarnesacademy.com with your original order number, a request for a replacement and await further instruction. You will then need to send your tool back to Katie Barnes Tool Range, 38 Cygnet Court. Timothy’s Bridge Road, Stratford upon Avon. CV37 9NW with a cover note (details of this provided to you after you have emailed us).
Exclusions
This policy does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect the function of the tool.
- Loss, theft, or misplacement of tools.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper storage or improper cleaning procedures.
- Tools purchased from unauthorised sellers (i.e second hand)
- Tools purchased out of this time frame.
Returning Damaged Tools
Customers must return the damaged tool before a replacement is issued. Return instructions will be provided by our customer service team.
Lost Returns in Transit
Katie Barnes Tool Range cannot accept responsibility for tools that are lost while being returned to us.
- Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipment.
- Any claim for parcels lost in transit must be made by the customer directly with the courier used.
- We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured postal service when returning items.
- Replacements will not be issued for items that do not arrive with us due to loss during transit.
Policy Changes
Katie Barnes Tool Range reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
